Job Title: Client Accounts Administrator

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the firm's top-tier billing portfolios, including high-volume and high-fee institutional and high-profile clients and attorneys.
- Serve as a proxy for regional supervisors and act as a subject-matter expert in billing.
- Represent the department in client meetings and across groups, and set and drive agendas impacting billing practices and processes.
- Work with support specialists in Legal Support Services and Accounting teams to provide streamlined billing and client account services.
- Handle the most complex domestic and global billing clients, editing, proofreading, finalizing, and submitting invoices to clients monthly.
- Research client billing data and provide detailed analysis to attorneys and support staff.
- Provide training and mentoring to other staff members on billing procedures.
- Manage complex billing involving global clients and electronic billing assignments.
- Perform duties supporting the full billing cycle, including reviewing and editing prebills, seeking approvals for deferrals, write-offs, and time transfers.
- Field billing inquiries and resolve tickets assigned by the Accounting Service Desk.
- Maintain an accurate description of all client billing requirements and update as necessary.
- Obtain complex monthly reporting, collaborating with other teams and reviewing data for accuracy.
- Gather and submit accrual information based on client requirements.
- Finalize and submit invoices directly to clients or provide to attorneys for transmission.
- Submit finalized invoices electronically based on client requirements.
- Continuously strive to improve client service and deliverables, utilizing knowledge of the legal industry.
- Share expertise to support team member development and engage with team members effectively.
- Proxy for or with manager when additional team support is required and drive improvements through collaboration with other departments.
- Engage appropriate tools and resources to effectively deliver assignments and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience Information:

Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field is highly preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience:
- 5 years of experience successfully managing high-volume billing portfolios in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with direct billing or client accounts, including domestic, global, and e-Billing, for a law or professional services organization.
- Experience as a team lead is preferred.
- Considered a subject-matter expert.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as Aderant.
- Proficiency in e-billing applications such as Bill Blast or e-Billing Hub is required.

Salary Information:
- The firm's expected hiring range for this position is - per hour, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location.
- Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws.
- Compensation will also depend on factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
