Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Administrative Assistant at the law firm is responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the legal practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling day-to-day administrative tasks for four attorneys.
- Managing calendaring and scheduling to ensure all appointments and deadlines are met efficiently.
- Performing e-filing of documents, ensuring all legal paperwork is submitted correctly and promptly.
- Printing and binding legal documents as required by the attorneys.
- Answering and managing phone calls, directing inquiries appropriately, and providing information as needed.
- Performing other general administrative office tasks to support the attorneys and the overall functioning of the office.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Legal Administrative Assistant position should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in providing administrative assistance, preferably in a legal setting.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in legal software and technology, ensuring efficient handling of legal documents and tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, critical for maintaining the integrity of legal processes.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, a necessary trait in the fast-paced legal environment.
- Previous experience in a law firm or legal setting is considered advantageous, providing familiarity with legal procedures and terminology.
Salary Information:
Compensation for the Legal Administrative Assistant position is based on experience.
