Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily interaction with both existing and potential clients through telephone and in-person communication.
- Order and manage medical records from healthcare providers and maintain communication with clients and providers during the treatment process.
- Acquire necessary documents to substantiate injury and/or liability claims.
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to obtain records and account balances.
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate reductions of outstanding medical balances with providers.
- Collaborate directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
- Maintain organized case files throughout the case management process.
- Prepare comprehensive demand packages and compile supporting documentation for submission to insurance carriers.
- Interact with attorneys and present case summaries as required.
- Manage case files from intake to closing under the guidance of an attorney.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred.
- The candidate should possess negotiating skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and adhere to established procedures.
- Proactive communication with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers is essential.
- Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload efficiently with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Highly organized with the capability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Extensive expertise in computer and database usage, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute.
