Legal Assistant/Paralegal - Worker's Compensation The candidate will manage and maintain a high-volume caseload as the primary support team member to the Attorney. Act as a liaison between the client and Attorney providing an excellent client experience. Effectively communicate with the clients while demonstrating empathy and understanding of their case. Efficiently and effectively complete all assignments, tasks, and client calls. Recognize and communicate escalated or urgent matters to Attorney in a timely manner. Process and distribute all incoming and outgoing checks for clients. Schedule client visits when needed. Other duties as assigned by Attorney or Management Team. Should preferably have two years degree or higher. Should have 1+ years of law firm experience, preferably at a personal injury/worker's compensation firm. Paralegal/Legal Assistant experience is highly preferred. Exposure to/familiarity with Worker's Compensation is a plus. Must be able to work both independently and contribute to a positive team environment, self- motivated and goal-driven, have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and have effective written and verbal communications skills. Must have efficient with time management and deadline conscious, superior attention to detail, and a high level of organization skills. Must have a commitment to providing outstanding customer service both internally and externally. The ability to read, write, and converse in Spanish is a plus.
