Law Firm Seeking Experienced Enterprise Applications Engineer

Overview:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Engineer to join our Information Services Department. This role is responsible for the daily monitoring, support, and maintenance of our enterprise-wide applications, as well as leading projects related to updating or installing new applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing law firm applications, as well as deep knowledge of document management, timekeeping, accounting and billing, litigation support, ethical walls, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health of enterprise-wide applications, including error logs, server performance, and memory and processor usage.
- Resolve and respond to Help Desk tickets related to enterprise-wide applications, troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed.
- Keep current on patches and releases for applications, recommending updates to install.
- Lead testing of new software or updates, creating and maintaining test environments and scripts.
- Serve as Project Lead for new applications or updates, creating project plans and monitoring deadlines.
- Interface with vendors on a regular basis regarding problems, bug fixes, and new software versions.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in all enterprise-wide applications through training and staying up-to-date on industry developments.
- Act as a backup for other applications on the team.
- Assist, teach, and mentor other team members.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing enterprise-wide applications, preferably in a law firm.
- Deep knowledge of document management, timekeeping, law firm accounting and billing systems, litigation support, ethical walls, and security.
- Proficient in infrastructure, server, operating systems, and network communications.
- Strong ability to install and maintain any enterprise-wide application, including servers, customizations, and integrations.
- Knowledge of SQL server and scripting.
- Certification in iManage preferred.
