Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for non-US employees and partners, ensuring compliance with defined criteria
- Assist with various pay adjustments and exceptions within payroll processing deadlines
- Import and verify timesheet data for hourly employees
- Prepare and issue employee wages via cash, check, or electronic transfer
- Distribute tax forms and assist employees with completion as needed
- Collaborate with HR, Benefit, and Talent teams to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Interpret payroll reports and tax ledgers, and communicate with payroll vendor regarding changes
- Maintain and update employee information in financial and payroll systems
- Process statutory payments, including pensions, sick pay, maternity pay, and more
- Create and troubleshoot ad-hoc payroll reports
- Perform routine audits to ensure accuracy across systems
- Assist with onboarding of new employees and maintain payroll records
- Participate in the development and improvement of compensation processes
- Administer various payroll software and internal systems
- Perform bank reconciliations related to payroll and dividend accounts
- Create annual guaranteed payment schedules for solicitors
- Recalculate monthly guaranteed payments and special payments as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience working with various payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Celergo
- Experience working in non-US capacity is beneficial, but not required
- Knowledge of payroll general ledger accounts and taxing entities
- Strong technical skills, including multi-system integration and advanced Excel proficiency
- Ability to perform complex calculations and maintain data integrity across multiple systems
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect personal information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and ability to meet deadlines
