Job Title: Electronic Billing (E-Billing) Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Electronic Billing Specialist at the law firm is responsible for various tasks related to the submission and management of electronic invoices. Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring timely and accurate submission of electronic invoices for assigned clients.
- Performing quality assurance checks and reviewing invoices for compliance with client e-billing requirements.
- Uploading and submitting invoices using eBillingHub and over 50 vendor sites.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex e-billing issues independently.
- Collaborating with clients and attorneys to address rejected or pending invoices and following up regularly until resolution.
- Establishing strong working relationships with clients, attorneys, and staff, and communicating regularly regarding e-billing setup, issues, and questions.
- Creating and maintaining detailed electronic notes for each client, including client-specific and vendor-specific requirements.
- Working closely with the Billing team to ensure client requirements are followed.
- Creating and uploading client accrual spreadsheets as needed.
- Manually editing invoices to meet client submission requirements.
- Maintaining client vendor sites, reconciling firm and client information, and coordinating with Rate Administrator and attorneys to update rates, budgets, or status reports.
- Implementing new e-billing clients and vendors, including mapping in the eBillingHub and setup in Aderant.
- Assisting with other accounting projects as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires:

- Preferably 3+ years of experience in an accounting department, with previous experience in a law firm or professional services organization supporting a multi-office environment being strongly preferred.
- A college degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and work independently.
- Data-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality control.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle stressful situations calmly and composedly.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
- Knowledge of eBillingHub, BillBlast, Aderant, Elite 3E, or other similar software is preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Electronic Billing Specialist varies by location, and actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The salary ranges are:

- Washington: $72,000 to $79,000 annually ( to hourly).
- California (Los Angeles): $69,000 to $79,000 annually ( - hourly).
- California (San Francisco): $77,000 to $88,000 annually ( - hourly).
- New York City: $71,000 to $81,000 annually ( – hourly).
- Washington .: $73,000 to $82,000 annually ( - hourly).
