Job Summary:
The **Members Only**'s Office is seeking dedicated attorneys to serve as Assistant Attorneys General for the State of Arizona. These positions involve providing legal advice, counsel, and representation for the State in complex cases. The AGO has jurisdiction over a wide range of legal matters, including consumer fraud, white collar crime, public corruption, and civil rights. This is a full-time position with the option to work remotely.
Job Duties:
• Provide legal representation and advice in complex cases in state and federal court
• Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and memoranda
• Conduct legal research and investigations
• Respond to inquiries from law enforcement and the public
• Attend meetings and trainings as necessary
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
• Knowledge of applicable statutes, case law, and court rules
• Understanding of legal techniques and concepts
• Familiarity with the practical factors that impact litigation decisions
• Ability to effectively communicate through oral and written communication
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with various parties

Pre-Employment Requirements:
• Valid Arizona Driver's License
• Admission to and good standing with the Arizona State Bar
• Submission of a writing sample
• Fingerprinting and criminal background check
