H2: Responsibilities of the Data Engineering Lead:
- Design and create data architectures to support business needs
- Develop custom data models and algorithms
- Assess new data sources and gathering techniques
- Develop data set processes for modeling, mining, and production
- Oversee data team and provide guidance and direction
- Utilize various languages and tools to integrate systems
- Improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Leverage large volumes of data to answer business demands
- Introduce automation through metadata management and modern tools
- Propose appropriate data ingestion, preparation, and integration techniques
- Lead development of data governance policies and best practices
- Coordinate with functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
- Develop processes and tools to monitor model performance and data accuracy
H2: Proficiencies of the Data Engineering Lead:
- Experienced in designing and managing data pipelines
- Expertise in object-oriented/object function scripting languages
- Expert in SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and SSAS
- Knowledge or certifications in NoSQL/Hadoop-oriented databases
- Strong experience with traditional data integration technologies
- Experience with popular data discovery, analytics, and BI software tools
- Experience working with data governance, data quality, and data security teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft MDM and MDS
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and convey technical concepts
- High level of data security awareness
- Financial or legal industry data experience is a plus
- Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Intapp Integrate, and Boomi is a plus
H2: Qualifications for the Data Engineering Lead:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 8 years of experience in data management disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience working in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly effective in a collaborative environment
- Ability to independently resolve issues and self-direct work activities

- Salary range of $130,100 - $188,700 annually
