Job Title: Legal Business Associate - Senior
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in day-to-day interactions with client project teams and project leadership.
- Work collaboratively to optimize tax and legal processes by leveraging technology to align with client requirements and goals.
- Develop and implement automation and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of tax and legal departments.
- Provide training and software support related to processes and various technologies.
- Assist with project management tasks including creating workplans, tracking hours, writing status reports, and participating in status calls.
- Maintain relationships and serve clients holistically by understanding the broader practice and company overall.
- Participate in the development of team members and contribute to pursuit teams for business development.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with legal and/or technology solutions.
- Experience with implementation of CLM (contract lifecycle management) software such as Agiloft, SirionOne, Icertis, or others.
- Familiarity with document extraction tools, data wrangling tools like Alteryx, and visualization/BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Experience with DocuSign CLM or Salesforce configuration.
Licensure and Certifications:
- One of the following accreditations must be obtained, in process, or the candidate must be willing to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- Licensed Attorney (or foreign equivalent), Enrolled Agent, PMP, CCM Certification Program, CFA, PMI-ACP, CCMP, CBAP, Procurement/Legal Procurement, or SAS® Certified Data Scientist.
- Technical Certifications such as Six Sigma, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, CSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, DocuSign, iCertis, Onit Product Suite, Conga CLM, Agiloft, Sirion Labs, Kira, Thomson Reuters, Wolters Kluwer Passport, Mitratech Team Connect, and TAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in related fields.
- Experience with template rationalization, harmonization, playbook creation, and design of contracting processes.
Salary Information:
- The wage range for this role is estimated at $89,180 to $203,060.
- Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
Additional Information:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model requiring co-location in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work and clients served.
