Job Title: Senior Contracts Specialist - Indirect Sourcing
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Contracts Specialist is tasked with a range of responsibilities centered around the management and administration of contracts. This includes reviewing agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain contract accuracy and consistency. Key duties include:
- Reviewing, preparing, and evaluating agreements to ensure they meet accuracy and performance requirements while minimizing risk.
- Collaborating with Legal, Finance, and other subject matter experts to resolve contract inconsistencies promptly.
- Assessing the need for legal review and engaging with Corporate Counsel and/or Vice President of Shared Services as necessary.
- Assisting the Senior Manager, Contracts with complex contracting issues.
- Developing and conducting training on contract acumen and policies for new hires and stakeholders.
- Supporting business stakeholders with inquiries regarding contracting and compliance policies, procedures, risks, and contract status.
- Managing contract software reporting and maintaining a library of contractual content, including commonly used language and special terms.
- Conducting maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure accurate tracking systems.
- Leading weekly contracting status calls with business leaders.
- Overseeing the contract administration email box and maintaining templating documents.
- Managing the master contracting data repository for pending contracts.
- Performing related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a background in fields such as legal, business administration, or grant/contract management, typically obtained through a four-year Bachelor's Degree Program or Paralegal Certification. The candidate should have five to seven years of direct experience in contracting or law firm environments, along with a working knowledge of contractual/legal terms and conditions. Experience in a healthcare industry consulting environment is also preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating contract information.
- Proficiency in drafting contractual language and impeccable proofreading skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and advanced analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to evaluate risk and prioritize tasks.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and software programs, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, and SharePoint. Experience with iCertis is preferred.
- Ability to propose and implement ideas for improving team efficiency and effectiveness.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is between $72,200 and $103,290. This range reflects a national average, and the actual salary may vary based on location. Specific state locations such as Colorado, California, Washington, New York, Hawaii, Vermont, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Illinois may have salary ranges up to 10% lower than the minimum or 12% higher than the maximum.
