Job Title: Billing Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, print, and distribute prebills in accordance with law firm standards.
- Revise prebills as directed, ensuring complex adjustments are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute invoices as instructed.
- Coordinate with the ebilling department to resolve any rejections associated with ebilled invoices.
- Respond promptly and completely to client and attorney billing inquiries, maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Identify and resolve billing inaccuracies to ensure accuracy in all billing processes.
- Regularly participate in meetings with assigned billing attorneys to discuss billing matters.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using software such as 3E, Proforma Tracker, InTapp Time, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Actively seek opportunities for growth and offer assistance with special projects within the department.
- Suggest improvements for billing processes and systems procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
- A two-year degree is preferred; alternatively, related work experience of at least 3 years is required.
- Experience in a professional service firm is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with all levels of management and staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Highest standards of honesty and integrity are expected.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Experience with Elite Enterprise/3E and Bill Blast is considered a plus.
Salary Information:
The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
