Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will assist in various stages of residential real estate closings. Will primarily be responsible for the post-closing responsibilities of each file, including preparation of closing package, funding, recording, and returning loan documents to lender. Preparing Loan Packages for Closing. Reviewing All Documents for Accuracy. Obtaining Funding Approval from Lenders. Electronic Recording of Documents. Returning of Loan Packages to Lenders. Assisting Attorney with Preparation of Final Title Opinions. Scheduling Closings with Realtors and Clients. Opening Files and Obtaining Preliminary Documents. Assisting Attorney with Title Documents as Needed. Collecting Invoices and Payoffs. Communicating with Clients and Third Parties. Assisting Other Office Staff in Addressing Client Needs. Preparing or Revising CDs and HUDs.

The candidate should preferably have 1+ Year of Experience in a Law Firm Handling Residential Real Estate Closings. Experience using SoftPro to Create HUDs and CDs is plus. Experience using Simplifile Electronic Recording System is preferred. Experience with Basic Title Search Functions (Looking up Deeds, Verifying Taxes, Judgments) ideal. Experience with Microsoft-based Software Programs (Word, Excel) is desired.
