Job Responsibilities
The Family Law Paralegal is responsible for supporting attorneys in the Family Law Practice Group. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, financial statements, and discovery requests and responses.
- Coordinating and managing Rule 410 Compliance.
- Collaborating with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and meetings.
- Interfacing professionally with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Education and Experience Information
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is considered a plus.
- Relevant experience in family law or litigation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Financial acumen.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TurboLaw.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Probate and Family Court processes and procedures.
- Proven project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks successfully.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
