Litigation Paralegal The candidate will effectively communicate with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel and their staff, health care providers, and experts while managing the firm's litigation discovery. Will have the ability to diary and timely comply with litigation deadlines and scheduling. Effectively organize data, including medical records. Work independently to support attorneys, and keep cases on track and moving forward. Meet Discovery deadlines and ensure compliance with Trial Orders. Prepare correspondence, demands, pleadings, motions, exhibits, and witness lists. Generate case-specific discovery. Manage organize and create trial exhibits. Assist with production of media presentation(s) for mediation and trial. Prepare and issue Subpoenas for Deposition and Trial. Generate and respond to discovery, prepping cases for trial from Complaint to Jury Trial.

The candidate should be familiar with all facets of litigation from Initial Complaint through to Jury Trial. Florida Registered Paralegal or Certified Paralegal preferred. Experience with case Management of Plaintiff Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Cases from pre-suit through trial needed. Should have a working knowledge of Closing Statements. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Experience with Aderant Total Office (aka Client Profiles Case Management System) preferred. Strong medical background preferred. Experience with Med Mal and Nursing Home Cases- preferred. General familiarity with case- intake, Med Mal Notice of Intent, Medical affidavits, and Medical chronologies preferred.
