Job Title: Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division, with the goal of making a meaningful impact on clients’ lives.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple competing responsibilities.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal interactions.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to ensure collective success and efficiency in case management.
- Primarily work from home, but attend required in-person client meetings at the office when necessary.

Education and Experience Information:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.
- Exceptional writing skills, demonstrated through professional writing samples.
- Proven experience working with multiple attorneys in a law firm setting.
- Proficiency in e-filing with County Courts.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey legal concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer service mindset with a strong focus on providing exceptional client experiences.
- Strong references that attest to expertise and professionalism.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court staff.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of family law cases while maintaining high-quality legal work.
- Skilled in e-filing and navigating County Court systems.

Salary Information:

- Compensation: $25 – $42 hourly + commission structure.
- The range presented is a reliable estimate of the base salary expected for the position. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, internal and external pay equity, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
- Full-time employees may be eligible for health insurance with an optional Flexible Spending Account or a Health Savings Account, short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401(k) Retirement, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program to support personal wellness needs.
