Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of legal arguments and documents, including pleadings, motions, stipulations, discovery requests and responses, complaints, and demand letters.
- Communicate with clients, potential clients, opposing counsel and their assistants, witnesses, court reporters, court officials, and messenger services.
- Identify, locate, and interview relevant witnesses and experts.
- Investigate cases by requesting and reviewing relevant documents, analyzing documents and legal issues, and performing fact-checking.
- Conduct legal research and locate cases, opinions, reports, and other pertinent information.
- Collaborate with ESI vendors to manage the collection, review, and production of documents requested and produced in discovery.
- Review, organize, and assist with the production of discovery documents using electronic document review and production platforms.
- Summarize legal documents, medical records, and employment records.
- Organize and maintain document files and case materials.
- Assist with trial, pretrial, and motions preparations.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must have a minimum of four years of experience in relevant areas such as legal document preparation, communication with legal parties, case investigation, legal research, and document management.
Salary Information:
- The compensation range for this position is $74,000 to $95,000 a year.
- Additional compensation includes an annual discretionary profit-sharing contribution and bonus consideration.
