Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate contract management and organization of general legal files.
- Manage forms and templates and input contracts into the contract management system.
- Interface with individual members of various departments across the entire company, including HR and Finance, to ensure accurate administration of legal documents, compliance with business requirements, and efficient operation of contract processes.
- Manage incoming law firm invoices through Legal Tracker and provide monthly accruals to finance teams.
- Draft and redline various documents such as termination letters, NDAs, amendments, contractor and freelancer agreements, talent agreements, and contest and sweepstakes rules, as needed.
- Seek innovative ways to optimize legal processes and take an ownership role in special projects as the need arises.
- Perform legal administrative tasks such as handling mailings, contract signature requests, organizing files, and other tasks as needed.
Education and Experience Information
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification required.
- 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal at a reputable law firm and/or company.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle numerous projects and keep track of multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Comfortable working with (and curious about) new technology systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment.
- Ability and openness to learning new skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure, and rapidly changing environments.
Salary Information
- The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000-$65,000.
- Additional compensation includes incentive compensation (for eligible roles only), 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
