Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Case Manager/Legal Assistant at the law firm plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's mission to serve clients, particularly victims of disasters, by providing comprehensive legal assistance and support. The primary responsibilities include:
- Sending letters of representation to clients.
- Updating clients on the status of their cases.
- Collecting necessary documents and information from clients.
- Evaluating the needs of clients to provide tailored assistance.
- Connecting clients with internal and external resources as needed.
- Advocating for clients within the firm to ensure their needs are met.
- Assisting attorneys with drafting pleadings, handling correspondence, and scheduling.
- Contributing to the firm's marketing strategy to aid in its growth.
- Playing an integral part in the firm's innovative and fast-paced environment, contributing ideas for professional growth and improvement.
Education and Experience:
Candidates for the position of Legal Case Manager/Legal Assistant are required to have:
- , with 2+ years preferred.
- Knowledge of FileVine or a similar Case Management System is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents is required.
- Experience in managing medical records is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with at least 2 years of experience is required.
Salary Information:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $45, to $55, per year. Additionally, the law firm provides a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
