Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Elevate code quality by championing test-driven development, code hygiene, and clean architecture across the team.
- Lead agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and incremental delivery with a focus on iteration and value delivery.
- Design and implement scalable, robust systems across the backend (using Python/FastAPI), frontend (with React), and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive technical alignment through leading code reviews, design reviews, and engineering discussions that result in thoughtful and well-documented decisions.
- Champion documentation by authoring and reviewing technical design documents to guide team implementation and maintain long-term clarity.
- Design systems with fault tolerance, observability, and graceful degradation in mind, guiding the team in applying principles of reliability and operational excellence.
- Lead incident response and learning by participating in and improving incident response processes, driving actionable postmortems, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on roadmap priorities and delivery timelines.
Education and Experience Information:
- Full-Stack/Front-end Experience is a plus.
- React Experience is a plus.
Salary Information:
- The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $120,000 - $200,000 USD. This range will be contingent upon various factors, including relevant experience, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
