Job Title: Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting various litigation-related documents including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, proposed orders, and post-trial bills of costs.
- Cite checking and key citing pleadings to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Preparing, electronically filing, and serving motions, briefs, affidavits, declarations, exhibits, appendices, and other pertinent documents for submission to . District Courts and Courts of Appeals, particularly focusing on the Federal Circuit.
- Conducting an initial review of documents to determine relevance and privilege; maintaining privilege logs and assisting in deposition preparation to support attorneys in legal proceedings.
- Managing logistics and providing trial assistance, including handling out-of-state trials, preparing trial notebooks, jury notebooks, and compiling comprehensive exhibit lists and exhibits for trial use.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a law firm setting.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certification is desirable, indicating formal education and training in legal practices.
- Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy in legal documentation and processes.
- A focus on exceptional client service is necessary to maintain and enhance client relationships.
