Litigation Paralegal The candidate will communicate with clients in the form of status reports and other client-related requests. Summarize medical records into chronologies and identify other providers named in medical records. Research to identify appropriate experts; contact experts to obtain CVs and fee schedules and to ascertain their availability to serve as experts, including providing information for a conflict search; organize records to be provided to experts for review. Communication with insured, clients, experts and defense counsel. Draft form pleadings, prepare client reports, draft client responses to form interrogatories and organize document production; prepare page/line summaries. Bachelor's degree is preferred; paralegal certificate is a plus. Prior law firm experience is required. Insurance defense experience is a plus. Must be deadline and detail-oriented, well-organized, and a team player who is able to work independently on assigned projects. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
