Job Title: Conflicts Analyst – Laterals II

Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze lateral candidates and conflict submissions to ensure accuracy and alignment with law firm processes, policies, systems, and strategies.
- Process lateral conflicts checks and evaluate lateral conflict submissions using law firm and third-party research databases.
- Enter conflict information into law firm systems, run conflicts reports, report hits, and examine results for compliance purposes in accordance with law firm policies and procedures.
- If necessary, run additional reports utilizing international business compliance software such as LexisNexis and business research companies like D&B Hoovers/DNB.
- Research corporate entities and family tree structures to determine related entities.
- Communicate effectively with the team and interdepartmentally within the law firm.
- Operate independently with a deep understanding of problem analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve complex issues.
- Review and analyze research reports for conflicts.
- Perform data entry and analysis for conflict check requests.
- Monitor data quality and inter-department data sharing.
- Ensure timely processing of lateral and conflict requests.
- Communicate effectively per law firm policies on lateral and other requests.
- Review and process Professional Responsibility Questionnaires (PRQs) for accuracy.
- Coordinate with recruiting for additional candidate information.
- Prioritize urgent requests in the lateral inbox.
- Cross-reference Intapp Open reports for new hires.
- Implement risk management processes.
- Coordinate department training and outreach with management.
- Lead departmental projects and initiatives.
- Support customer service needs.
- Assist with lateral onboarding efforts.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3-5 years of conflicts analyst experience, preferably at a large law firm.
- Familiarity with Intapp products, especially Intapp Open, preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented problem-solver with sound judgment.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions.
- Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability to change in a dynamic, innovative environment while upholding core values.
- Eagerness and aptitude to learn new technologies as needed.

Salary Information:
- The expected salary range for this position is:
- California Major Markets: $64,000 - $103,000
- New York City: $64,000 - $103,000
- National: $61,000 - $76,000
- California Major Markets include San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Santa Monica. All other California locations fall within the National range.
- The law firm is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the law firm’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on various job-related factors, which may include qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, and geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, determined by law firm and individual performance.
