Position Overview:

As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in driving the firm's revenue through oversight and improvement of billing and collections processes. You will partner with the CFO and firm owners to achieve operational priorities in an efficient and financially responsible manner, and will oversee the Accounting Department and manage the budget preparation and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and improve billing and collections processes to drive firm revenue
- Partner with CFO and firm owners to achieve operational priorities
- Manage the Accounting Department and oversee staffing
- Prepare and report on the firm's budget
- Conduct financial reporting and analysis, both monthly and ad-hoc
- Manage bank accounts, transfers, and reconciliations
- Utilize legal time and billing software, with experience in Perfectlaw preferred
- Maintain a strong knowledge of general ledger and GAAP
- Utilize expert Excel skills to analyze financial data
- Lead and mentor team members to achieve excellence in their work

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience
- Experience in law firm accounting
- Strong knowledge of general ledger and GAAP
- Expert Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and influence others
- Sound financial and business decision-making skills
