**Members Only**, an AMLaw 100 firm, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal Manager to oversee its team of approximately 125 paralegals across the United States and Canada. **Overview:**
As the Paralegal Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading all aspects of the paralegal program at **Members Only**. This includes overseeing paralegal recruitment, training, and development, as well as managing day-to-day operations and performance evaluations. You will also serve as a key resource for paralegals and attorneys, ensuring that resources, skills, and training programs are aligned with the needs of the firm's practice areas.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a team of 125 paralegals across all offices of the firm
- Provide guidance and support to maintain appropriate workloads
- Analyze productivity reports and provide workflow analysis
- Administer annual performance reviews and manage overtime approval
- Conduct disciplinary actions and terminations in coordination with Human Resources
- Partner with Paralegal Chairs to recommend annual compensation and bonuses
- Conduct regular check-ins with all paralegals and hold virtual meetings at the Practice Group level
- Host an All-Paralegal meeting at least annually
- Oversee the recruitment, evaluation, and screening of candidates for hire
- Utilize various platforms, such as LinkedIn, to identify and attract top talent
- Participate in onboarding processes for new paralegals and maintain contact with them during integration and beyond
- Evaluate available resources to determine hiring needs
- Recommend and develop training and professional development programs
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for paralegals
- Interact regularly with paralegals and attorneys to ensure alignment with practice area needs
- Oversee the entry-level paralegal program, including training development and implementation
- Network with peer firms and participate in professional organizations to stay current on best practices
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and inclusive environment for the paralegals
- Offer creative and innovative suggestions to manage the paralegal program
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior paralegal experience is a plus
- Prior experience in a law firm finance department or data analysis is a plus
- High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with employees at all levels within the organization
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects
- Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service and quick response times
- Ability to travel occasionally
