Job Title: Transaction and Real Estate Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, encompassing activities from contract initiation to closing, whether selling or buying.
- Draft and review various real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, deeds, and closing documents.
- Manage due diligence processes, conduct title and survey reviews, and coordinate the closing processes.
- Assist with corporate and transactional matters, which include entity formation, UCC filings, and maintenance of corporate records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and other third parties involved in transactions.
- Maintain organized files and track critical deadlines to ensure smooth transaction processes.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a real estate and/or transactional paralegal is required.
- Strong knowledge of real estate closings, title work, and escrow procedures is essential.
- Experience with commercial real estate and corporate transactions is considered a plus.
- Excellent organizational, writing, communication, and multitasking skills are necessary for this role.
- The ability to work independently, with unwavering attention to detail and client service, is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with legal management software is preferred.
- An ABA Certification or an associate degree in paralegal studies is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred.
