Job Title: Intake Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with prospective clients to gather case details.
- Evaluate the merit of potential cases and onboard eligible clients.
- Enter and update case information in the case management software.
- Prepare and send retainer agreements to new clients.
- Coordinate initial medical treatment for clients.
- Draft and send letters of representation to relevant parties.
Education and Experience Information:
- Previous experience working in a law firm is required.
- Experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice law is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential for building client trust and rapport.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills are necessary.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and office software is required.
- The candidate should be self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Salary Information:
- Pay ranges from to per hour.
- Expected work hours are 40 per week.
