Job Title: Litigation and Settlements Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal procedures, regulations, and regulatory requirements throughout the settlement process.
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare, review, and finalize settlement agreements and related legal documents.
- Manage and maintain accurate case files throughout the settlement process.
- Verify settlement amounts, attorney fees, and other case-related financials to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with all parties involved in the process to facilitate settlements.
- Communicate with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and collecting necessary documentation.
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding items to move cases efficiently toward resolution.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate disbursements of settlement funds.

Education and Experience Information:
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a related legal role.
- Paralegal certificate or relevant legal education preferred.
- Strong knowledge of settlement procedures, legal documentation, and case management.
- Experience in settlement negotiations is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in legal writing, document preparation, and case management software.
- The ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Proficiency with case management software (CRM), Microsoft Office, and legal research tools.

Salary Information:
- Pay: From $55, per year
