Position: Trusts and Estates Paralegal
Location: Springfield, MA
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Collect and evaluate data regarding client's assets, financial situation, and creditors' claims
- Prepare inventories, accounts, and probate forms
- Assist with drafting trusts, wills, and related documents
- Assemble documents for estate planning
- Meet with and provide compassionate support to clients, including those who have lost loved ones or have disabilities
- Communicate with clients, probate courts, taxing authorities, and financial institutions on a regular basis
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members daily
- Provide general administrative support to the office as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver a high standard of client service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and teamwork abilities
- Paralegal certificate, a plus
