Job Title: Practice Group Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with pre-closing, closing, and post-closing of loans.
- Compile and organize documents such as loan documents and signature pages.
- Revise and edit documents as needed.
- Track missing items and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Create closing binder indexes and assemble closing binders.
- Prepare custodial letters and custodial packages.
- Develop and update various checklists to ensure thoroughness.
- Track post-closing items including recorded and original documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys, analysts, paralegals, and title companies to ensure smooth transaction processes.
Education and Experience Information:
- A strong interest in real estate lending and the legal profession is essential.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong sense of pride in personal work product is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
- Prior experience in a law firm or possession of a paralegal certificate is considered a plus.
- The candidate must be capable of working individually as well as in a team setting.
- Dependability, dedication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial attributes for this role.
Skills:
- Excellent computer skills are necessary, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet searches.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external parties.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Salary Information:
The budgeted salary range for this role is $52,000 - $65,000.
