Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal The candidate will organize the case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed. Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues. Prepare initial drafts of estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorneys, health care directives, deeds, et cetera) for attorney review. Organize document signing meetings. File deeds and other documents with relevant courts (typically Fulton County, DeKalb County, Cobb County, and Cherokee County). Mileage and other necessary expenses will be reimbursed. Meet with bankers and other financial services professionals to ensure that clients trusts are funded. Should have 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting.
