Job Title: Associate - Registered Investment Funds
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with shareholders and participate in business development and client-facing activities within the Investment Services team.
- Play a leading or key role in transactions, particularly related to investment company reorganizations or mergers.
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously, ensuring compliance with federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933.
- Handle cases involving registered investment companies and investment advisers.
- Engage with mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), closed-end funds, and independent trustees and directors.
Education and Experience Information:
- 4-7 years of experience with registered investment companies and investment advisers.
- Experience with regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws.
- . degree with strong academic credentials.
- Admission in good standing to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction or taking steps to become admitted.
Salary Information:
- Annual base salary ranging from $280,000 to $330,000.
