Transactional Analyst – Hospitality and Leisure (Chicago and Phoenix)
**Members Only** is seeking a Transactional Analyst to join their team in either Chicago or Phoenix. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in both law and business in a fast-paced legal environment. The Transactional Analyst will work closely with lawyers and paraprofessionals in the Hospitality & Leisure practice group and will report to the Senior Practice Director.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with preparation of basic transactional documents.
• Facilitate coordination of entity and property due diligence.
• Establish and maintain electronic client files utilizing firm document management system.
• Prepare closing indexes and binders and ensure post-closing obligations are met.
• Review and analyze various legal agreements and contracts, including preparation of abstracts upon request.
• Perform research on factual issues and assist in preparation of legal analysis.
• Monitor and report on key industry developments.
• Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
• with strong academic credentials.
• Ability to work in a professional team environment and interact with business services professionals and clients at all levels in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Proactive work ethic with the ability to anticipate the needs of the assignment and respond accordingly.
• Professional self-starter who can provide superior client service with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, decision-making, writing and research skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PDF creation tool(s).
• Two-year commitment is highly desired. Interest in pursuing a career in law is encouraged.
• Availability to work overtime to support business needs when necessary.
Salary Information:
• Chicago: $55,000 - $65,000 DOE
