Law firm **Members Only** is currently seeking a highly qualified Patent Specialist to join their Intellectual Property Department. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package as well as a hybrid work schedule, combining both in-office and remote work days. Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for US patent prosecution and patent matters, with a focus on US and PCT filings, deadline management, and special projects.
Collaborate with attorneys, patent specialists, paralegals, and clients to ensure a high level of service is provided.
Prepare, coordinate, and file US and PCT patent applications, responses, and issue fees.
Draft correspondence to clients regarding the status of patent applications and patent matters.
Report USPTO and PCT correspondence and notifications, including publications, recordation of assignments, office actions, and more.
Manage client portfolios, including preparing and maintaining status reports and charts.
Act as a single point of contact for clients and provide assistance as needed.
Draft, file, and report IDS and IDS reference management.
Utilize contracted resources as appropriate.
Manage docket(s), monitor deadlines, and communicate with appropriate parties to ensure timely completion.
Review, organize, and file documents and emails in the firm's document management system.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Provide a variety of patent-related administrative support.
Support client services by preparing and processing client reports and coordinating meetings.
Review client proformas and make edits as needed.
Finalize documents for attorneys.
Handle patent prosecution administrative tasks and route to others as necessary.
Maintain accurate daily time records for client billing and statistical purposes.

Requirements:

Minimum of two years' experience in a patent prosecution paralegal, legal secretary, or comparable position.
Experience with USPTO procedures and foreign filing preferred.
High level of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and internet research tools.
Good working knowledge of timekeeping software and document management systems.
Excellent client service skills and ability to collaborate with others.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
Respectful and reliable team player with a positive attitude.
Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to change.
