Job Title: Litigation Docketing Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Docketing Specialist is responsible for providing multi-jurisdictional litigation docketing support across the law firm. This role requires a client-focused, detail-oriented approach to manage a high volume of legal filings and attorney requests. The specialist will review legal documents and filings to determine deadlines for Federal, State, and Appellate Courts, making entries into the docketing database according to established procedures. Monitoring internal team inboxes to ensure the receipt and retention of court filings is crucial. The specialist will generate docket reports and respond to queries from attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants. Additionally, the role involves monitoring cases through various online resources and distributing documents as needed. The specialist must handle all case team inquiries efficiently and maintain litigation docketing team protocols. Other duties may be assigned to meet the position's requirements fully.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Litigation Docketing Specialist position should have at least two years of experience in litigation docketing, calendaring, and civil procedure. A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience in a similar role, is required. The candidate should possess knowledge of various court websites, litigation procedures, docket searching, and document retrieval databases. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task under general supervision is essential. Effective communication skills with all levels within the firm, the ability to handle and maintain confidential information, and strong attention to detail are crucial. Candidates should also have strong analytical, data entry, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Litigation Docketing Specialist position takes into account a candidate’s education, training, experience, work location, external market, and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. The salary range for this position in Colorado is - per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
