Job Title: Estate Planning Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, including estate plans using Wealth Docx, pleadings, discovery, settlement agreements, and other court documents.
- Organize, review, and manage documents in both paper and electronic formats.
- Handle procedural tasks in California probate courts, including filing and serving pretrial pleadings.
- Review discovery documents and prepare responses.
- Assist with trust and estate administration tasks, including preparing trust reports and accountings.
Education and Experience Information:
- A BA or BS degree and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program are required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Paralegal for a California law firm or equivalent environment is required.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience drafting estate planning documents using Wealth Docx is highly preferred; scenario-building experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality is required.
- Working knowledge of the California Rules of Court and Code of Civil Procedure is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is required.
- Familiarity with Clio Grow and Clio Manage is preferred.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $62,400 per year.
- A signing bonus is available for a successful candidate with verified 1+ years of hands-on experience drafting California estate plans in Wealth Docx.
