Job Title: Remote Family Law Paralegal (Part-time to Full-time)

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor litigation calendars, deadlines, and case tasks to ensure all legal processes are timely managed.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, declarations, subpoenas, discovery, and correspondence to support attorneys in case preparations.
- Prepare and format legal documents for electronic filing specifically in Riverside and San Diego County courts, ensuring compliance with local court rules.
- Guide clients through the completion of necessary disclosures and assist in gathering required information for declarations and discovery responses.
- Track case progress and maintain ongoing communication with clients, keeping them informed and updated on their case status.
- Coordinate with the on-site paralegal to ensure seamless file management and superior client service.
- Communicate professionally with courts, opposing counsel, and clients via email and phone, maintaining the firm’s high standard of client care.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 years of recent, hands-on experience as a paralegal in California family law is required, demonstrating a strong understanding of family law practices and procedures.
- Although the candidate may reside outside of California, they must possess a working knowledge of California courts and practices, especially those in Riverside and San Diego County.
- Preferred educational qualification includes a Bachelor's degree.
- A California Paralegal Certificate is preferred, indicating formal training and recognition in the field of paralegal studies.

Salary Information:
- Compensation for this role is between and per hour, depending on experience. The employer provides this salary range.

- The role is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location, with a requirement of a minimum of 20 hours per week, aligning with Pacific Time Zone hours.
