Lead Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
As a Lead Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team within the Corporate Affairs department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of Section 16 reports (Forms 3, 4, and 5) with the SEC.
- Supporting the Corporate Affairs team in ensuring compliance with SEC regulations.
- Managing corporate governance and entity management for subsidiaries, including entity formations, annual reports, qualifications, dissolutions, DBA filings, name change amendments, and other related corporate filings.
- Maintaining and updating corporate records to ensure accuracy and compliance with local laws.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support corporate transactions and other legal matters.
- Conducting legal research and providing support on various compliance and governance issues.
Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role, with a strong focus on SEC compliance and corporate governance.
- Proven experience with Section 16 filings.
- Prior successful experience working in the legal department of a public company.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing entities in EMEA and Asia.
- Exceptional communication, research, and organizational skills.
- Comfort interfacing with business leaders throughout the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Information:
The pay range for the Lead Paralegal position is $99,800 to $143,450. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of the total compensation package.
