Job Title: Paralegal - Wage & Hour Class Action

Job Responsibilities:
Paralegals in the Employment Wage & Hour Class Action department at the law firm are tasked with providing litigation support to attorneys and partners. This involves managing a high volume of cases and requires resourcefulness and the ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing correspondence, letters, pleadings, and all forms of discovery
- Proofreading and editing legal documents for accuracy and clarity
- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for cases
- Maintaining case files on the firm’s document and case management system
- Assisting in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Managing cases, calendars, and projects, along with client communication
- Providing administrative support to the legal team

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in Labor and Employment and Wage & Hour is required
- Familiarity with e-filing in State, Federal courts (Appellate experience is a plus), and administrative agencies is essential
- Experience in propounding/responding to discovery, calendaring hearings and court deadlines, and assisting with mediation/arbitration/trial preparation is required
- Proficient in conducting legal research using platforms like Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw
- Experience using Litify or similar case/document management systems is preferred
- Spanish fluency and proficiency with Microsoft 365 are strongly preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree is considered a plus

Salary Information:
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $35 to $55, depending on experience.
