Job Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
As a Title & Survey Paralegal within the Finance department, the role involves several key responsibilities crucial for supporting the legal team in multifamily real estate financings. These responsibilities include:
- Organizing and reviewing due diligence documents, which involves preparing due diligence checklists and coordinating the receipt of these documents.
- Preparing summaries of due diligence documents that are used in the preparation of disclosure documents.
- Drafting routine transaction documents and assisting with researching applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Drafting and proofreading both routine and complex transaction documents.
- Preparing closing checklists, closing certificates, and other essential closing documents.
- Coordinating the execution of closing documents and conducting closings, including preparing closing transcripts.
- Filing UCCs and other required legal filings.
- Traveling to client and/or trial sites as necessary.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for this position should have commercial real estate experience with entities such as law firms, title companies, commercial lenders, or other related entities. Experience with specific programs like Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac CME, and/or HUD-insured programs is considered an advantage. While a college degree is preferred, it is not explicitly required.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this Paralegal position is between $80,000 and $115,000, depending on the candidate's experience and location. Additionally, the firm offers an excellent benefits package, which includes:
