Job Title: Senior Counsel, Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead litigation matters from inception to completion, including overseeing and coordinating outside counsel efforts.
- Conduct interviews with witnesses, take depositions, manage motion practices, and engage in pre-trial dispute resolution.
- Act as the first chair in arbitration and/or trial proceedings.
- Collaborate with outside counsel on litigation matters outside California, with the potential to appear pro hac vice as needed.
- Conduct internal investigations and risk assessments in collaboration with HR, IT, and Risk Departments.
- Provide advice and counseling on a broad range of legal issues.
- Stay informed on relevant industry and litigation-related laws to maintain high-quality legal advice.
- Develop processes and procedures to support the growth of the legal department and business operations.
- Travel as required for litigation and legal matters.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Admission to the California Bar in good standing is necessary, with additional state bar admissions being advantageous.
- A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience is required.
- Experience in leading all facets of litigation through to trial or arbitration is essential.
- The candidate should possess the ability to learn quickly and manage shifting priorities.
- An entrepreneurial mindset is necessary to work independently with minimal guidance while exercising good judgment.
- The candidate should demonstrate dedication to exceptional client service.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, managing legal staff and business clients efficiently.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required.
- The candidate should possess sound and practical business judgment and common sense.
- A sense of humor and an upbeat, can-do attitude is preferred, in alignment with the company’s "Own It!" philosophy.
- A genuine love for the legal profession is essential.

Salary Information:
- The good faith estimated salary range for this position is $165,000 to $205,000, depending on factors such as experience and skill level.
- There is a target discretionary incentive bonus of 20%.
