Paralegal 1 The candidate will learn employment-based immigration basics, including government agencies, common visa types, and how we work with clients/foreign nationals to secure visas. Train on nonimmigrant and immigrant-based visas, including H-1B, H-4, and PERM processes from initiation through completion phases. Assist paralegal and attorney team in visa application preparation, as assigned by senior staff/team lead: Opening profiles or processes in Voyager/Edge; Collecting and organizing documents from clients/foreign nationals; Drafting H-1B and LCA forms, for review by account manager(s) prior to submission; Preparation of support letter (LOS), utilizing templates and details provided from client; Assembling final applications for attorney review, including printing, organizing, and assembly of forms/supporting documents; Monitor emails and chat messages, responding to internal requests from account managers and/or responding to external stakeholders as required. Assist account managers in the PERM process as assigned, including data collection/review, position and experience letter template drafting, PWR preparation, recruitment ad preparation, or completing initial ETA 9089 draft. Assist in dependent application preparation as assigned. Assist account managers in side-projects as needed, such as client reporting. Adhere to firm standards, expectations, best practices, and efficiencies. Bachelor's degree in a humanities, social science, communications, or journalism field is needed. Entry-level role with no prior business immigration or paralegal experience is required.
