Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the lead attorney for incident response in cybersecurity and data privacy incidents.
- Interact with senior level management and technical personnel at client companies.
- Analyze state, federal, and international privacy laws.
- Draft legal notices of data breaches to individuals and regulators.
- Defend privacy lawsuits.
- Draft privacy and security policies and procedures.
- Triage data breaches and oversee forensics investigations.
- Advise clients on handling cybersecurity incidents.
- Oversee third party vendors for e-Discovery, data mining, and notice projects.
- Draft breach notification letters and crisis communications for clients.
- Respond to inquiries and investigations by state and federal regulators.
- Draft reports to insurance carriers and clients.
- Prepare legal budgets.
- Supervise junior team members.

Qualifications:

- JD from an accredited Law School is required.
- Must be admitted to Bar in good standing.
- 7+ years of legal experience.
- 7+ years of experience in data privacy and security, with a focus on incident response.
- Strong knowledge of data breach and privacy laws.
- IT or technical background is a plus.
- Litigation experience is a plus.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player.

Pay Range:

$155,000 - $185,000 USD
