The Employee Relations Partner is a crucial role in any organization, responsible for providing consistent and strategic Employee Relations consultation to both managers and employees. This position ensures that all employee issues are resolved in adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. As an Employee Relations Partner, you will be responsible for conducting investigations, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to operational management and HR business partners. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.
Salary and Experience Information:
Salary range: $60K - $75K
Experience level: 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations
Essential Functions:
- Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems
- Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations
- Develop investigation plans and conduct fair, neutral, and timely investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures and federal/state regulations
- Oversee employee relations matters and ensure policy interpretation for supervisors and managers
- Partner with operational management, HR business partners, labor relations, and legal teams to create solutions for complex employee relations issues
- Ensure delivery of high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance, administration of union collective bargaining agreements (as applicable), employee communication, and collaboration with centers of excellence
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within region
- May be required to travel to company sites within supported region
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to upskill and train on technology and functional aspects of case management systems
- Flexibility and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations
- Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required
- Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time
