Job Title: Junior Paralegal - Humanitarian Team - Immigration Law Firm
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and report to the Senior Paralegal.
- Implement office procedures and applications to streamline operations.
- Complete administrative tasks as necessary to support the team's objectives.
- Manage and track cases using case management software to ensure efficiency.
- Meet with clients to gather necessary evidence and personal data for case preparation.
- Perform client data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Complete records requests from various courts and offices as required.
- Assemble case files ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
- Conduct translations to assist in case preparation and client communication.
- Provide client communication and case status updates to maintain transparency and trust.
Education and Experience:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with clients and perform translations.
- A Bachelor's degree or a Paralegal certificate is required to fulfill the educational prerequisites for the role.
- Preferred candidates will have 1+ years of related experience in a similar role, which will be advantageous in performing job duties effectively.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word programs and general computer/technology competency is required.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently are necessary for managing workload.

Salary Information:
