- Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and terms and conditions
- Liaise with in-house counsel, contract managers, and project teams
- Draft contract amendments and modifications
- Coordinate insurance requirements and requests for certificates of insurance
- Review and negotiate exceptions to standard terms with vendors and subcontractors
- Provide contract support and advise project managers on risk management
- Deliver contract and risk management training
- Support the Human Resources team with employment-related matters
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and JD degrees required
- 10+ years of experience in reviewing and negotiating complex documents in the professional services and engineering/construction fields
- Experience with commercial and public contracting and projects
- Familiarity with employment matters and litigation
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong computer skills
