Litigation Paralegal The candidate will provide high-volume legal assistance to attorneys, prepare legal correspondence, assist in drafting and filing of pleadings, discovery and demand letters, prepare trial binders and other trial preparation, update clients regarding motions and oppositions, perform limited legal research and additional duties as needed. Will enhance attorney effectiveness by assisting in taking a case from inception through trial. Should have a high school diploma or GED. A paralegal certificate is preferred. Experience of 3+ years as a Paralegal and/or in a law firm experience is preferred. Trial prep experience is required. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Excellent writing skills are required. Must be a go-getter, reliable, and have a strong work ethic. Should be highly organized with excellent time management skills. Should have the ability to work independently and as a team on an assigned caseload. Outstanding interpersonal skills are desired.
