Job Title: Sr. Director, Business Development – Transactional

Job Responsibilities:
The Sr. Director, Business Development – Transactional at the law firm holds a senior leadership position with a primary focus on driving revenue growth and supporting transactional lawyers in their marketing initiatives. This role involves overseeing the Transactional practices, which include Tax and Real Estate, and managing the domestic Transaction Business Development team. Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with Practice Group Leaders and the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer to set visibility and business development priorities for transactional practices.
- Leading the development and execution of strategies and initiatives for the related practices and lawyers.
- Driving revenue generation initiatives such as client targeting, market research, RFP responses, and client relationship reviews.
- Partnering with senior international business development leads on cross-practice and cross-border opportunities.
- Working with communications, brand, and award teams to enhance strategic visibility and build brand awareness.
- Providing coaching and guidance to senior lawyers on visibility and business development initiatives.
- Directing team efforts related to strategic key transactional clients, including setting KPIs and metrics.
- Leading a team of marketing and business development professionals across the .
- Collaborating with Practice Managers to drive broader practice initiatives through a marketing and business development perspective.
- Working with the Market Intelligence Team and Knowledge Management to streamline business development processes.
- Partnering with the M&BD leadership team to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and communication across departments and lawyers.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Sr. Director, Business Development – Transactional position should have:

- Over 15 years of professional services marketing and business development experience, preferably in a sophisticated and matrixed organization.
- Significant management experience.
- A proven track record of team building and transformational project management.
- High-level relationship management experience is highly valued.

Salary Information:
The annual compensation range for the Sr. Director, Business Development – Transactional position is $360,000 to $375,000. The salary offered within this range will depend on qualifications and other operational considerations.

Compensation & Benefits:

Locations:
