Litigation Paralegal Duties: Process and obtain medical records. Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents. Communications with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, offices, court personnel, and experts. Review medical records and other discovery materials. Formal Hearing/Trial preparation, including electronic presentations and assisting with depositions. Assist attorneys at hearings and/or trials with electronic presentations, coordinating witnesses and managing trial exhibits. Manage electronic databases. Assist with document productions. Electronic filing with state courts/workers compensation offices and Social Security. Performs other related duties as required by management.
Qualifications: Paralegal certificate and/or college degree. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and accommodate rush requests. Must be a team player, eager to help other team members during peak times. Must be able to work independently on complex files with minimal direction. Strong attention to detail, very organized and motivated. Superior computer skills, using Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Tabs3 Practice Master software is helpful.
