Job Title: IP Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The IP Litigation Associate will be responsible for engaging in a broad range of intellectual property litigation activities. This includes representing clients in complex intellectual property disputes, preparing legal documents, and conducting thorough legal research. The associate will need to demonstrate superb research, writing, and communication skills to effectively support the national practice. Candidates should be prepared to navigate complex subject matters quickly and effectively, and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment to contribute to the growth and support of the law firm's national practice. The role may also require appearing in federal courts, including the Federal Circuit, and engaging in all aspects of litigation from inception through to resolution.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and have active bar admission in the jurisdiction in which they intend to practice. The ideal candidate will have more than four years of experience in intellectual property litigation, with any experience at the Federal Circuit being a plus. Additionally, candidates should have a high level of academic achievement and prior experience working in a law firm or clerking. Experience in handling complex legal matters and the ability to quickly understand and address intricate issues is essential.
Salary Information:
The annual salary for the IP Litigation Associate position ranges from $230,000 to $310,000, depending on the candidate's experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance. The role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, voluntary insurance options such as vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
